As of  December 13, 2017 we are currently hiring for the following positions:

Kettle Cook with cook experience inside a food manufacturing plant. Job Duties are as follows:

​

  • Responsible for enforcing company rules and regulations per the Handbook guidelines.

  • Responsible for maintaining Food Safety procedures with the production team members.

  • Support the compliance with, and maintenance of, all food safety and regulatory programs

  • Responsible for insuring the quality, food safety and consistency of all NF&B foods products

  • Responsible for maintaining all safety related initiatives including, but not limited to, safety programs and incentives

  • Responsible for insuring the quality, food safety and consistency of all NF&B Foods products

  • Basic understanding of HACCP Principles for CCP controls

  • Prepare product batches as required by specific product formulations and specific procedures. Follow prepared formulations and procedures.

  • Accurate tracking of lot numbers during batching process

  • Working with QA to achieve properly approved product ready for filling

  • Must be capable of learning and using with a high skill level the Manufacturing systems used by NF&B.

  • Complete closings of completed batches into MC (Manufacturing Conductor) once batches are complete

  • Work with Warehouse materials handlers for timely supply of materials for batching

  • Work with Filler operator for timely supply of product for filling

  • Ability to document process records as required

  • Clearing work area and putting away materials at the end of shift

  • Understanding of appropriate SDS for job related chemicals

  • Knowledge of disassembly and re-assembly of required equipment

  • Ability to learn to operate required equipment

  • Ability to lift 50 lbs or more repeatedly

  • Ability to stand for long periods of time

  • Perform other tasks as assigned by supervisor

  • Supervisory Experience Required:     NO

  • Pay Details:    Competitive Wage

  • Shift:             First (1st)

  • Work Week: Full Time - 32 hours (or more) per week

  • Duration:       Regular

  • Minimum Experience and Education: High School Diploma/GED AND MUST  have at least 6 Months of Food & Beverage Industry Experience in a Food Manufacturing environment.

  • Language: Bi-lingual preferred! ( Must Speak, Read and Write English Fluently, Spanish speaking preferred)

  • VERY HEAVY AND CONSISTENT LIFTING IS REQUIRED FOR THIS POSITION - UP TO 50 LBS, UP TO 30 TIMES A SHIFT.
